Own Heliopolis School History

Own Heliopolis Language School was established in 1989 in one of the most decent Cairo suburbs; Sheraton Heliopolis. Named after a great city of ancient Egypt, Heliopolis means the ‘City of the Sun’. The school covers a total area of 4200 Square meters and is currently serving 1741 students in three different educational systems (American-National-British)

The American system was first introduced in 2005 in a separate building for the international education hosting from K-12 students in the American system. There is one other separate building hosting the National education system from the kindergarten to high school. The American section building hosts five Science labs, two computer labs, administrative offices, multipurpose hall, music room, art room, art exhibition room, clinic and library.

Other school facilities include multipurpose sports courts, kindergarten playing area and canteen.

For more than 30 years the school is committed to offer high quality education to present to the world graduates that are confident, creative, and presentable so they can prove excellence in a highly competitive environment
